The Ryan Group has taken advanced training from National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts in the following areas

·    Casework and training on the valuing of an interest in closely held corporations. The objective of the valuation is to determine the value of a minority interest in a small non public corporation. Dissenting shareholders or non-business spouse incident to martial dissolutions brought the usual legal entanglements.
·    The Generally accepted methods and procedures to use in a forensic engagement in accordance with the standards published by National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
·    The generally accepted methods to value a "minority interest" and the applicable discounts that can be obtained for similar interest in a similar industry.
·    The generally accepted methods to value the "lack of control" a shareholder has when in a minority ownership position. The preparation of the discounts applicable to the valuing of that minority interest because "lack of control".
·    Training on the use of the "Fair Value Methodology" as described in the Internal Revenue Ruling "59-60". As well as other accepted methods of valuing a business entity.
